The design of the school curriculum is based on the stages of development and characteristics of children, taking into account of their life experiences, abilities and interests. Our curriculum is diverse, covering the moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic, and spiritual development of children. The school adopts project-based learning pedagogy and provides foundational learning courses, which can effectively enhance the knowledge, learning abilities, and attitude of children. Our curriculum is comprehensive and balanced, thus establishing a solid foundation for early learning.
Adopting project-based learning, children explore, collect information and carry out diverse perceptual activities, such as simple experiments and visits, to develop their thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Professional early childhood education teachers utilize creative ideas, games, and establish interactive learning corners to encourage children to grasp foundational knowledge and exploration skills through games and practice. Besides, the school has a large supply of picture books. We encourage parents to read with their children to cultivate children’s early interest in reading. The school is also located near to the public library, which can efficiently promote reading among children.
The school uses photos, observational analysis and comprehensive reports to demonstrate the learning outcomes of children, as well as systematically collects children’s works to record their developmental journeys. Parents can understand the growth of their children through the “Children Developmental Journeys Portfolio”, helping children to achieve all-round development.
